Author biography of Charles Spencer
Charles Spencer was born and raised in Kent, spending his childhood between bookshops and the chalk paths of the North Downs. He sketched stories in exercise books, edited a tiny school zine, and devoured everything from classic novels to weekly magazines. He attended The King’s School, Canterbury, where teachers encouraged his early experiments in storytelling and reportage. At home, a family that loved reading made it easy for him to turn curiosity into a habit.
